Serving is one of the most effective way to get involved here at Latitude Church. Not only is it a great way to build relationships, but it is also a great way to witness the work that God is doing. Serving others is one of the most rewarding ways we get to be faithful to God. There are a multitude of places in which you can serve here at Latitude, which you can check out below. Are you ready to step up? You can email email@example.com or you can visit the Connect Center this Sunday.
Still not sure what would be your best fit? We would love to give you a tour of each area and help you decide. Visit the Connect Center to set one up!
The Connect Team exists to help connect and interact with all guests and attendees, and make their experience at Latitude enjoyable! This team includes the Connect Center, Kiosks, Ushers, and Greeters. Their main focus is to set an engaging and loving atmosphere in our lobby for everyone that walks in the door.
Our Host Team strives to connect with each and every VIP (first time guest). Their goal is to be sure that visitors know their way around, get answers to any questions, and most importantly- feel right at home.
Our Parking Lot Team members are the first faces that greet everyone at Latitude Church. Rain or shine, they direct traffic through the parking lot, ensure that our VIP and Handicapped spots are available to those that need them, and offer a friendly greeting to people as soon as their tires hit our campus.
This team exists to provide prayer, both during services and throughout the week. They serve during altar calls, cover our prayer wall, make hospital visits, and help coordinate meals with our meal ministry to those who need them.
The Safety Team ensures that our campuses remain a safe environment for everyone. They cover our lobby, worship center, offices, and Freedom Kids area during our Sunday services, as well as during our Wednesday night Surge Student services.
This team works hard to partner with parents in raising up our Freedom Kids (birth- 5th grade) in the way they should go. They strive to teach The Bible in a way that is fun, engaging, and on the kids' level. These lessons are brought to life during large group experiences that include worship, skits, and videos, as well as intentional small group teaching that breaks down the lessons for better understanding. If you have a heart for teaching and raising up children in the truth, then you've found your perfect fit.
Our Surge team makes our Wednesday night student services possible for our 6th-12th graders. They carry out the vision of Surge, which is to reach students far from God while empowering them to take a stand for Jesus. Surge is a ministry that mimics our Sunday experience while providing worship, message, and small group teaching on biblical content that is relevant to middle school and high school students. It provides a safe, yet engaging and fun atmosphere for them that lets them know they are loved, seen, and believed in. There are many ways to serve within Surge, but if you are passionate about seeing students choose to be sold out for God, then this is the place for you!
Worship and Production
Our Worship and Production team strives to bring excellence to each of our services through music, audio, lighting, and video. They serve during services and weekly rehearsals by preparing a worship experience that is inviting and offers and undeniable experience with God. Their goal is to ensure that each worship service is Holy Spirit led, and leads the congregation to a level of worship that cannot deny the presence of God.
