In the central ministries, under the leadership of Executive Director Pastor Christina Smith, the Outreach and Frontline/Connections role is pivotal, requiring exceptional organization, initiative, and action-oriented individuals. This position is integral to fostering both internal community engagement and external outreach, encompassing event planning, resource management, and nurturing partnerships. It serves as a vital cog in executing the ministry’s vision, directly impacting community service and internal cohesion through strategic planning and dynamic leadership.

OUTREACH ROLE

Outreach is everything

its not just serving out in the community but serving inside your community

-following up with servant leaders
– Team Nights
-looking at calendar and planning and scheduling servant leaders for Outreach Events: Saturday Serves (3 a year), Reach Week, Trunk or Treat, Christmas Unwrapped, (All of these events require instillations and launch dates corresponding with Creative Department)
-Partnering with ministries through the Cafe proceeds once a month
-Benevolence Fund – meeting needs in house like groceries, utility help, etc. (keeping a list of those that have been helped throughout the year)
-Monthly Tithes with organizations
-PR with organizations in our city
-Look for fresh ideas where we don’t have to calendar events but can actually meet practical needs
-keeping a list of outreach numbers
-work within budget for events
